This class is for beginning learners that are able to float independently, and are comfortable with both submerging and streamlined kicking on both their front and back for 10 yards.
Through challenging drills and structured swim games, students will build upon skills learned in beginner level 1 while focusing on endurance, and stroke technique. Swimmers will develop a firm understanding of how to best coordinate arm and leg movements, and the ability to swim for longer distances independently.
Skills taught in this level include:
Learners will increase their aquatic comfort, and develop the proper body alignment for freestyle with a better understanding of reach and pull dynamics.
